
Angola now has an association of existing digital payment providers in the country, with the fundamental objective of “bring together, defend and better represent the interests of companies providing payment services".
The constitutive act of the Association of Payment Services Providers of Angola was carried out with the signing of the organization's statutes in the Government of National Bank of Angola (BNA).
Another objective of the aforementioned association is “contribute to the protection, security and development of payment systems, as well as participate in ongoing efforts to promote literacy and financial inclusion throughout the national territory".
The BNA governor, Manuel Tiago Dias, the vice-governors, Pedro Castro e Silva and Maria de Fontes Pereira, the administrator Marília Poças, and other members of the central bank's management body, as well as representatives of payment methods UnitelMoney, afrimoney, Kwattel, Pay4All, PayPay Africa, Paga Qi and LinkedPay.
