O Huawei Technology Center has already trained more than four thousand young Angolans, in order to create skills for nationals, digital inclusion and conditions for the implementation of various technologies.

Located in the Urban District of Talatona, in Luanda, the technological innovation center is valued at over 65 million US dollars (25.500.000.000.00 Kwanzas), and has office structures, training centers and accommodation to train talented young people in technological areas, and where to ensure the full operation of the park, Huawei already has 53 Angolan employees at its disposal, mostly engineers, trained in Angola and other parts of the world.

BUT: Huawei and MINTTICS offer free courses in telecommunications and technologies

The training cycle is based on a Memorandum of Understanding between Huawei and the Ministry of Telecommunications, Information Technologies and Social Communication for the training of 15 thousand local digital talents in five years, signed in 2022, in the presence of the President of the Republic, João Lourenço.

The training is divided into two types of courses: for professionals with basic ICT knowledge and introductory courses for all Angolans, focusing on general subjects such as basic ICT notions, project management, leadership, among others.
