The Chinese company Huawei plans to train more than five thousand young Angolans annually, with the entry into operation of its technological park in the country.
Located in the Urban District of Talatona, in Luanda, the technological innovation center is valued at over 65 million US dollars (25.500.000.000.00 Kwanzas), and will have offices, training centers and accommodation in its structures to train young people talented in the technological areas, and where to ensure the full operation of the park, Huawei already has 53 Angolan employees at its disposal, mostly engineers, trained in Angola and in other parts of the world.
For Manuel Homem, the Minister of Telecommunications, Information Technologies and Social Communication, who last week visited the Technological Centre's facilities, reiterated that the training and qualification of Angolan staff is one of the major investments made at national level, since it can respond to the needs of the national market.
The Governor said that the installation of the center will provide training for more than 500 young people monthly, enabling them to respond to the challenges of the sector, as well as the importation of qualified labor, stressing that the certification that will be carried out in the technological center will allow the absorption of professionals trained in the institution in the market.

Manuel Homem also stressed that investment is an initiative that should be encouraged, as it creates local skills that increasingly allow Angolans to be able to respond to investment initiatives by large companies.
The minister also explained that the effort that the multinational made to establish itself in the country is the result of the stability of the economic and financial ecosystem registered in Angola. The park will contribute to the digital transformation in Africa, 5G technology and the digital implementation of government bodies, necessary actions for the country to achieve sustainable development.
It should be noted that the construction of this Technological Center and the training of talents is part of the projects that the Chinese company is developing in Angola, in order to create national skills, digital inclusion and conditions for the implementation of various technologies.
