ChatGPT will be incorporated into Bing

Microsoft has announced that its search engine will be incorporated into the artificial intelligence 'chatbot' Chat GPT for paid version subscribers starting today, extending “soon” to the rest of users.
"Our fantastic partnership with OpenAI is critical to our progress with the new Bing“, said the consumer marketing director of Microsoft, Yusuf Mehdi, in a statement.

In the document, Mehdi points out that the 'chatbot' of OpenAI now has, in Bing, a built-in search engine to provide “faster and more up-to-date answers with access to the network”, which are also “supported by research, 'web data' and using citations”.

ChatGPT Plus subscribers, who have access to GPT-4, did not have access to information sources, so the new partnership will allow users to have access to “citations (in footnotes) in order to obtain more information”.

In January, Microsoft announced a “multi-million dollar investment” in startup OpenAI, and in February, the Seattle-based technology giant announced that it would use OpenAI technology for its artificial intelligence tools.
