The implementation project of infrastructure of the National Cloud of Angola will launch the country into a new technological era to support the economy and development, according to the Minister of Telecommunications, Information Technologies and Social Communication, Mário Oliveira.
For the minister, who was speaking at the launch of the aforementioned project, in addition to satisfying the population's desires and achieving well-being, the infrastructure will have state-of-the-art technology that will allow users and institutions to store, maintain and have access to to data on highly available servers, from any device, whether mobile or computer.
The implementation of the "National Cloud" project, underlines Mário Oliveira, the Angolan Government hopes to promote the digital development of the economy, improve the citizen's perception of governance and government efficiency, bringing citizens closer to government actions.

This government initiative is also expected to establish a basis for digital transformation throughout the national industry, to cultivate local talent in the use of information technologies (ICT) and cloud services.
"The interconnection of these bodies will allow the implementation of a new technology of intelligent offices, allowing the obtaining of economic benefits, which will culminate in a significant saving of the costs resulting from the position of investment in ICT infrastructures”, He revealed.
Another expected benefit is linked to the efficiency in the analysis and treatment of data from different sectors, since there will be a unification of data.
