Windows Vs Linux Vs OSX

Since Microsoft has taken over the market for operating systems for personal computers, the story has been the same: total domain!

Every year we hear that it may be the year of Linux on desktops, or that Apple is taking big steps to balance the scales, but it does not matter. Even when Microsoft makes blunders like Windows Vista, that does not change.

According to Net Applications , during 2013 OSX (Apple) and Linux have grown considerably, obviously taking advantage of the launch of misunderstood Windows 8. But despite this growth, Windows continues to prevail.

Here's a list of the most commonly used operating systems:
  • Windows: 90,72%
  • OSX: 7,68%
  • Linux: 1,6%

Most Used Operating Systems

The sad news for Microsoft is that its last two operating systems, Windows 8 and Windows 8.1, they only have 10% of the market share. O Windows 7 Commands List with 47,49% and soon after comes Windows XP with 29,23%.

What about you, what is your operating system of choice?

  1. I was a Windows user until 2012 (XP lover). Now my favorite Operating System is Mac OS X (since Lion, Mountain Lion and OS X Mavericks).
