Yesterday there was a big problem for most of all Skype users worldwide, causing many users to be unable to log in.

Skype or Whatsapp

Fortunately today at dawn Skype announced that problem was solved and thanked all users for their patience. and also announced that companies using Skype were not affected in the process.

According to the Voice of Skype Peter Parkes:

The problems with the network of "supernodes"(Computers with a specific configuration and direct Internet connection) are responsible - something that can take several hours to resolve.

According to Peter, "Skype is not a network like a conventional phone or an instant messaging network - instead, it relies on millions of individual connections between computers and phones to keep things going." In other words, Skype uses a network peer-to-peer (peer-to-peer) rather than a client-server model as many think, to connect calls. Some of these connections, Peter said, work as "supernodes"-" Phone directories for Skype. "And apparently several of these"supernodes"Failed yesterday.

Unfortunately some users continue to have problems logging in to Skype by receiving the following message:

“Sorry, this feature isn't available right now: An error occurred while processing this request, Please try again”

or in Portuguese

“Sorry, this feature is not available at the moment: An error occurred while processing the order, please try again”

If you are verifying this message, we recommend that you completely uninstall Skype and reinstall and the problem will be solved.
