Meet 20 Startups participating in Seedstars Africa

The Seedstars event toured Africa to find the best startups on the continent. On the 12th to the 14th of December, in Maputo, these Startups, at least those from Sub-Saharan Africa, will be gathered for a major Continental event. Investors, mentors, enthusiasts ... will spend 3 days sharing knowledge related to technological innovation and entrepreneurship. The main event will take place on the 14th, when startups will once again have the chance to present their projects to the world.

Below are the Startups that will perform at the event:

🇦🇴Angola - Tupuca , a success story, is the first online food delivery platform in Angola. Tupuca serves more than 20 thousand customers, delivered more than 80 000 meals in the first year and created more than 75 jobs.

(I.e.Mozambique - A TABECH Services will present a service called MovelCare, which uses cell phones without internet access to access funeral insurance.

🇪🇹Ethiopia - LangBot, A Chatbot in game form, with Aritifical intelligence support, to teach languages.

🇳🇬Nigeria - Medsaf is a health-oriented system that connects hospitals and pharmacies to facilitate the process of buying and selling medicines in Nigeria's complex healthcare system.

🇿🇦 South Africa - EMGuidance addresses a critical issue for medical professionals by aggregating medical content from regional experts into one application.

🇨🇲Champions - Gifted Mom - is democratizing access to health information in emerging markets through a remote medical support platform based on Artificial Intelligence.

🇲🇱Mali - Esene is an onboard system that collects soil moisture to provide water and fertilizer for the soil.

🇷🇼Ruanda - PikiWash, an ecological and economical solution to clean motorcycles, was selected as the best startup in Rwanda.

🇺🇬Uganda - Numida has developed a mobile business financial management application that issues affordable and secure credit for small and medium-sized businesses in Uganda.

🇸🇳Segal: MaTontine provides access to small loans and related financial services, such as micro-insurance, by digitizing traditional savings circles.

🇨🇮Cote d'Ivoire - CinetPay is a mobile payment gateway that enables merchants (Commonwealth) and electronic merchants to accept mobile money and card payments, either online or offline.

🇹🇿Tanzania - Nefrids Africa, has developed SimuBima, a Mobile Phone Insurance Solution designed to reach a large number of users across Tanzania using digital channels.

AnaGhana - AgroCenta An online sales platform that connects small farmers directly to an online marketplace, which has a wider geographic size.

🇿🇼Zimbabwe - MyRunner - allows anyone to buy bus tickets online and control the location of the bus at all times, making the experience safer and more enjoyable.

🇧🇼Botswana: Yapili, a peer-to-peer platform (P2P) that connects users to doctors for advice.

🇰🇪 Kenya: M-Shule improves learning for every primary school student in Africa by using artificial intelligence and SMS to provide personalized and accessible education.
