On October 12, 2018, the event that seeks the best startups in emerging markets, will be back in Angola. The 4th edition of Seedstars Luanda seeks innovative minds to represent the country in the Regional and Global Finals of Seedstars, with the chance to win up to US $ 1 million in capital investments and other prizes.

Seedstars World, The global competition for startups in early stage for emerging markets completed the pre-selection round and selected the most promising technology startups to perform at the event Seedstars Luanda on 12 from October to 16h in Luanda (At ISPTEC - Follow the Map).
Here are the startups selected to pitch at the event:
- BALUS- Management platform for martial arts tournaments, with emphasis on JiuJitsu. Created to serve as a “database” on the performance of JiuJitsu practitioners;
- Kubinga: The platform that allows you to find a cheaper ride in Angola. Kubinga has a database with drivers in the city of Luanda and through the application we can ask for a "ride" and pay a fair price;
- Tellas: Africa has a rich culture. A part of it has been represented in the films, but who has access to films in national languages? Tellas intends to solve this problem and make available, on a website, films in national languages;
- Drone: This is the proposal of the “HS-Geo Survey”, a platform that uses Drones to collect data, analyze data from aerial images to help solve the problems of farmers in monitoring pests in their plantations;
- ProjePolis - This Startup brings a product focused on health. THE Pharmali is an intermediary platform in the purchase and sale of pharmaceuticals, offering the possibility to increase the supply of products;
- e-Angola - Estudy Angola is a social network for students, which facilitates and stimulates the learning process based on our reality, allowing the publication of video-lessons, books, among other functionalities;
- Fix-Technologies - This startup brings a ticket sales platform: “reservasonline.co.ao”, allows the payment of tickets for events, without having to leave the house;
- LV Digital - With a focus on education, LV Digital brings the “Academia Nzoji” - eLearning platform for courses, specialization and services. Starting with courses in Portuguese and plans to add courses in national languages;
- Kepya - A market that connects agricultural producers, transporters, buyers, government, financial and insurance institutions.
- Otchitanda - a platform where users can earn money by selling what they have, whether new or used items.
