O Google Maps implemented a new feature called “Lists”Or“ lists ”which allows users to create and share lists with their favorite places in the app.
The new Google Maps feature allows the user to create a list and recommend it to their friends and families. Lists that can vary, from restaurants, nightclubs, recreational centers and many other things and just share the suggestions with anyone you want through text message, email, social networks or messaging applications.
The lists that the user creates are all stored in the section “their locations”. And when you open one of the saved lists, the locations will be shown through an icon on the Google Maps map itself, this will allow you to know if you are close to any of the places.
Google claims that these lists are still available even offline.
If the user wants to create a list, first he has to go to the side menu, click on “my places”, “saved” and select “create new list”. Alternatively, the user can click on the desired location, then click on save, and at this point “create new list”.
The lists that the user creates can be viewed in smartphones, tablets e computers. It is also possible to access them offline but for that you need to download the map of the area while you still have an Internet connection.
