Archangel

Remember the name: Archangel Maló Wacunzo, of 22 years, formed in the Luanda Industrial Middle Institute (IMIL), currently a third year student in the Petroleum Engineering course at London South Bank University, in England.

They must remember the name because it comes with a prize called "Excellence in Education Awards / 2013"(Excellence in Education). Students win prizes around the world, including Angolans and we do not report. Why report this award?

The interesting fact is that the university delivers this award teachers who excel in research and teaching. So, Archangel Wacunzo was an exception to the rule, a student winning that prize.

According to information from Jornal de Angola

“Archangel, a native of Huambo, is president of the Student Association of London South Bank University and a member of the Association of Chemical Engineers. He participated in several intellectual competitions in English universities, such as University College London (UCL), Manchester University and Aberdeen Univeristy.

Archangel is an active member of the International Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE). ”

The student commented on the prize received:

I received the award for having a higher number of classifications in academic and extra-academic activities. My overall performance was above the 80 percent in engineering petroleum sciences.

The team at MenosFios congratulates Archangel Wacunzo and we promised interview him in the next days, so the country (and not only), will know more about the student.
