There are new emojis coming to keyboards soon. Version 15.1 has already been approved by the Unicode Consortium, an entity dedicated to developing international software and data in a standardized way, reveals The Verge.
There are not as many new features as in previous editions, but users will be able to count on a head shaking horizontally and another vertically, a phoenix, a lime and a brown mushroom.
Unicode 15.1 and Emoji 15.1 have been published by @unicode, officially recommending 118 new emoji sequences for 2023/2024

The range of new features also includes new versions of families and other icons, which are now facing another direction.
There is still no forecast for when these dolls that have become part of the digital language will reach devices, as it will take months for companies like Apple and Microsoft to be able to include the new features in the software.
