Os smartphones are an integral part of our daily lives, present in our lives almost every hour of the day. In addition to facilitating communication and access to information, these devices emit electromagnetic radiation, the impact of which on the human body is measured by the Specific Absorption Rate (SAR).
SAR is an important indicator for assessing the amount of radiation the body absorbs when using a mobile phone. The German Federal Office for Radiological Protection recently conducted a study on this topic, the results of which were published by the Polish technology portal Komputerswiat. The study identified the 20 smartphone models with the highest SAR values:

Among these models are some of the brands most used in Angola in recent years, such as Samsung, Xiaomi, Apple, OPPO and Realme, according to data from the newspaper Expansión.
Although the list highlights smartphones with the highest SAR values, Komputerswiat says there are no conclusive official studies showing that using mobile phones is harmful to health. However, concerns about prolonged exposure to radiation from mobile devices remain a topic of debate.
