Consultório MenosFios: How to remove the Dictation button from Safari on the iPhone

1419

If you have never used it, you must have (at least) noticed the microphone that appears on the right side of the Safari search bar on the iPhone. Well then, if you've already noticed it and you want to remove that button, Lessfios Office today, we show you how you can do it.

If you've never used the Dictation button in Safari on your iPhone, you've certainly clicked on it unintentionally and seen your keyboard disappear and a feature appear that began to capture the sound waves it emitted. This option is Dictation and allows users to choose to say what they intend to see written, instead of actually writing.

Know that it is possible to remove this option from your Safari search bar. However, we point out that removing this button means that Siri and the dictation function will be disabled. If this is not a problem, follow the tip we leave you today.

Remove Dictation Button from Safari on iPhone

Go to Settings and click on Screen Time.

If you do not have this functionality enabled, enable it, and click on Content and Privacy.

Again, activate the option Content and Privacy and then click Allowed Applications.

Since you should have all options enabled, disable the Siri and Dictation.

Now, when accessing Safari on iPhone, you should not find the Dictation option on the right side of the search bar.
