Speaking in a lecture on the topic “To what extent do social networks harm children”, in which more than 100 minors from various social strata participated, the Head of the Company's Technical Area recommended that parents and guardians should supervise and follow the children on digital platforms, with the aim of inhibiting bad practices and crimes that may arise from the misuse of these tools.

He recalled that digital platforms have many advantages that children should be shown so they can take advantage of this aspect and put it into practice, especially research channels for school and scientific content.
The social psychologist at the National Children's Institute (INAC), Felícia Francisco, considered that the use of social networks by children can become addictive, even causing anxiety, dependence, irritability and other problems.
