Mozambican delegation visits Huawei Technology Park

Based on the strategic partnership between the telecommunications ministries of Angola and Mozambique, the Ministry of Telecommunications, Information Technologies and Social Communication (MINTTICS) took the Mozambican delegation to visit the Huawei Technology Park in Talatona, where they were presented with the future park in construction in Talatona that will have training centers, technology rooms that will enable the training of Angolan and neighboring countries.

The Technological Center will have the capacity to train more than 1,500 talents and engineers as Huawei is focused on digital inclusion and training of young Angolan talents in the field of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT).

This park will contribute to the digital transformation in Africa, 5G technology and the digital implementation of government agencies in both countries, and for countries to achieve sustainable development they will have technology with a solid basis for development.

The training of talent at Huawei is part of the range of projects that the Chinese company has been developing in Angola, and the construction of the technology center will create skills for nationals, digital inclusion and conditions for the implementation of various technologies and the creation of a sustainable development for Angola.

Visitors learned about the entire operation process of the park and about the value of the investment that Huawei made for the project. The park is scheduled to be completed in the second half of next year and will bring with it the acquisition of new jobs and the consolidation of local investigative methods.

The National Director of Telecommunications and Information Technologies, Matias Manuel da Silva Borges, accompanied by the Infrasat PCA, Diogo de Carvalho, representative of the National Space Program Management Office, Ms. Zolana and the Executive Director of Inacom Luísa de, was leading the delegation.
