It is true that the telecommunications market in Angola has grown considerably compared to the last ten years, with the installation of national and international networks, we have now overcome some of the neighboring countries of SADC.

The availability of Angola Cables' Internet services, from 2012 to date, has increased tenfold by moving from 1,5 to more than 12 Gbps of international traffic capacity in Angola. Second Antonio Nunes (PCA da Angola Cables). With this availability of the Internet, the Angolan telecommunications market has become a reference in the Southern African Development Community (SADC) region.

António Nunes said that the constant declines in the Internet signal in the country have to do with the lack of entities providing Internet services in the communities and the low adherence to services by companies operating in the telecommunications sector. On the other hand, he acknowledged that despite the growth in Internet supply, the quality of telecommunications services in Angola is still below the desired level compared to developed country markets.

To overcome this deficit, he suggested, it is necessary that national operators acquire sufficient capacities from companies such as Angola Cables, which has enough supply to meet market demand. He also advocated the need to strengthen the digital ecosystem, giving special attention to the innovations of the agents of the sector, as well as creating a national partnership / cooperation relationship, aimed at improving telecommunication services in the country.
