Meta confirmed to the TechCrunch website which acquired Luxexcel, a Dutch company founded in 2009 specializing in lenses for smart glasses.

The news began by being advanced by a Belgian publication, but, at the moment, the terms of the deal between the two companies are not yet known. However, it is a clear sign that the bet of the company led by Mark Zuckerberg is to continue.

BUT: Even With Billions Invested, Meta's Metaverse Doesn't Attract Users

"We are excited that the Luxexcel team has joined Meta, deepening the current partnership between the two companies.", can be read in the communiqué from the head of Meta's financial communications department, Ryan Moore.
