ByteDance, owner of TikTok, is looking for new employees to fill vacancies in the area of online commerce in its international offices. The news reports that ByteDance is launching a new e-commerce platform that will focus solely on selling products made in China to buyers in other countries.

Since last September, several Chinese portals have been aware of the possibility of launching this e-commerce, which will reach users through its own application, or even integrated into the TikTok social network, and which will focus only on the sale of products made in China to buyers in other countries.

Also according to news from Business Insider website, ByteDance is looking for new collaborators to fill positions in the field of online commerce in its offices all over the world. From what was seen in the job vacancies advertised on Bussiness Insider, they pass the information that ByteDance also plans to bring to the platform independent sellers, in a format similar to what happens on AliExpress.
It should also be noted that ByteDance has already started to invest in a domestic e-Commerce strategy, having launched in January a mobile payments service for Douyin, the Chinese “brother” of TikTok. The creation of an international online shopping platform also comes after Amazon removed thousands of sellers from its platform in China due to suspicions of violating the company's rules.
It should be remembered that, earlier this year, TikTok's plans to expand its business to online commerce were known, in an attempt to compete directly against Facebook and in a decision that comes after the company established a partnership with Shopify in the United States in October 2020.
