The company now invests in dual authentication, a security system that makes it harder for hackers to try to capture valid credentials to access a user's dropbox account.
Follow the steps below to enable dual authentication:

Access account (Via browser)

Enable “double authentication” on the “security” tab, then “account settings”.

When a new device is used to access your account, a six-digit code will be sent via SMS
While creating dual authentication, an 16 digits backup code is generated, this code can be used to unlock the account in case it loses the phone.
