A Chinese company created EHang 184 , the first autonomous drone for passenger transport, which in the coming months will become officially operational in the Dubai(United Arab Emirates).
EHang 184 was presented in 2016 as the first drone designed for passenger transport, with the characteristics of a small helicopter and four pairs of propellers, which allows the drone to land or take off vertically without difficulty.

This is a goal that many companies continue to pursue in order to give life to new systems capable of combating problems such as environmental pollution, traffic and waste of time.
The autonomous drone that will fly in Dubai has a battery of 30 minutes and autonomy of 50 km, has a weight of 250 kg, the maximum speed is 160 km / h, but the operation will be carried out, on average, at 100 km / h. And it will start operating in the city by July at the latest.
EHang 184 is a drone equipped with a totally autonomous guidance system, which will allow passengers to use a display with a city map to configure their destination, but to offer greater security it has the integration of a system that through 4G networks will allow that the control room prevents something from going wrong and can guarantee the safety of passengers.
So far the drone is undergoing tests, there are still no details on how it will work, much less the price of travel.
