After this annulment, the head of the executive João Manuel Gonçalves Lourenço, recommended to the Ministry of Telecommunications and Information Technology to open a new competition, which was officially opened, companies wishing to compete must pay the equivalent in Kz to 120 one thousand USD to have access to the tender specifications.
O public tender for the granting of a license to the 4th Global Operator in the Telecommunications Sector was opened by presidential order, published on April 30, which obliges the working group responsible for conducting the process to “keep the President of the Republic informed about all stages of the tender procedure ”and to“ forward the final report for the purpose of award ”.
Companies that want to compete must pay an amount in Kz equivalent to 120 thousand USD to have access to the “parts of the procedure”, as mentioned in number 5 of the Presidential Order, which authorizes the working group to hire, for “simplified hiring” , national or international consultancy “to guarantee the technical and specialized preparation of the pieces of the procedure” and to “assist the Evaluation Committee in the assessment of the applications”.
