When Square Enix announced that Deus Ex: The Fall would indeed be a mobile game, many players, especially those who had experienced the excellent Deux Ex: Human Revolution were disappointed and said she did not care about those who had made the company what she was.
Now, as if to silence everyone, Square Enix's subsidiary Eidos-Montreal has announced not only a game but a whole universe. Deus Ex: Universe will include games for PCs, consoles and mobile devices like tablets and smartphones, as well as books and magazines, all related to the complex Deus Ex world.
David Anfossi, head of Eidos-Montereal, has confirmed that there is already a PC game and next-generation consoles under development, although he has not advanced the name or any details.
