A Huila province now has a fleet of electric taxis to boost urban mobility and reduce the impact of environmental pollution.
The new concept of hybrid vehicles is from the Angolan public transport company "Rosalina Express", cars that move using two different types of energy and for that, have two different engines, one combustion and the other electric, whose objective technology is to be able to take greater advantage, by being more and more efficient.
For Edgar Oséias, administrator of the transport company, he informed that it is through an electronic system that it is possible to correctly manage the operation of the hybrid engine and consequently all the energy is used, as is the case from braking.
And that's one of the reasons why the combustion engine of a hybrid car is small and allows you to reduce consumption and carbon dioxide emissions.

Speaking in an interview with ANGOP, the manager stressed that the idea is to increase the fleet, as they have some vehicles in the same segment of public transport, with breakdowns resulting from minor accidents.
It was also revealed that these are seven hybrid vehicles, intended for taxi service in Lubango, whose nature means that fuel consumption is reduced, as, when its electric motor is charged, it automatically switches off the fuel engine.
For Edgar Oseias, hybrid vehicles are the solution to environmental pollution issues and “Rosalina Express” wants to be a pioneer in helping, both economically and in terms of the so-called green economies.
Alongside this innovation of the new concept of hybrid vehicles, he referred that the company plans to revitalize the application that is available on Google, being the Rosalina Shuttle, which allows people to access its services in addition to telephone numbers, in this way being able to visualize the car while driving to the customer or to yourself.
