It is known that Angola will have the inauguration of the New Luanda International Airport (NAIL) in the coming days or months, and it is certainly hoped that for those traveling, it will be able to offer services that improve the image a little during arrival. of passengers traveling to our country.

Apparently, things are already moving forward with regard to telecommunications services for NAIL, as the telecommunications consortium created just over a year ago has made progress, while INAMET has issues to resolve, but telecommunications services have not it will be a problem. Everything will be working before the opening.

O consortium created about a year ago, composed of four entities in the sector, all Angolan, namely UNITEL, Angola Telecom, Movicel and MS Telecom, which, in practice, will deal with the provision of NAIL's fixed network, mobile network and Wi-Fi services and, from the outset, avoid talk of a monopoly. The consortium was created with the aim of ensuring the best telecommunications services in NAIL and adjacent areas, as well as helping to cut infrastructure expenses.

Latest tests

The final tests of NAIL's telecommunications resources and equipment are scheduled for the second half of October, those responsible for the New Airport unanimously informed the minister. According to those responsible, the final tests should begin between October 14th and 15th and will continue until the end of that month. Thus, even before the official opening date, on November 10th, everything is operational, sources assured.
