Winners of Africa Science Week CTEAM competition found in Angola

The competition CTEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics)) of the Africa Science Week Angola event ended, and the Digital Factory team, responsible for the CTEAM competition, released the results.

Competitors were evaluated according to the following criteria:
1. Idea
2. Project structuring
3. Presentation
4. Business model
6. Teamwork

3rd - SURVEILLANCE ROBOT: A four-wheel robot integrated with a camera to help with street monitoring, garden control, parks, day care centers, hotels, supermarkets.

2nd - ANGOSPACE: It is a project that aims, through the creation of weather stations, to identify and understand climate change in order to help farmers know what is the best growing season or to identify areas of ease of cultivation, through a device that when realizing some natural phenomena, sends warning signals to the base. ⠀⠀⠀

1st - BELITA PROJECT: Belita is an application capable of translating speech into gestures. This allows the dialogue between two people where one has hearing or aphonic impairment. The application also allows the learning of Angolan sign language, which, according to the creator, will help mitigate the lack of interpreters and teachers of sign language in the country.
