One of the recurring issues in my short web experience has been this: sending large files.
With the emergence of more advanced entertainment equipment, gaming consoles, impressive filming machines, mobile phones that look like filmmakers ... the fact is, the size of the files is increasing. Record a video of 10 minutes in HD from a family member's party and you'll know what I mean.
Let's go to what matters, how to send these files:
-
1. Mediafire
One of the best storage and file sharing services. Allows the Shipping files up to 200 MB for free accounts. About the storage, 50 GB Is it enough for you? Well, that's what those responsible offer to their users.
One of the great advantages of Mediafire is to be able to download the files using a download manager (like Orbit, or another of your liking, but on these, I'll tell you soon)
-
2. Skydrive
Users of Microsoft products should know this service well, and they are obliged, because the e-mail accounts provided by this company, are linked to Skydrive. We have an improvement over Mediafire, transfer files up to 300 MB.
But not everything is beautiful in the world. Skydrive: storage default is 7 GB, and the user can pay to get more space.
-
3. Yousendit
For those who want a more traditional service, I present the Yousendit, highly respected by users around the world. The big disadvantage compared to the other two services above is the maximum file size: 50 MB for users who have free accounts.
There are many other options to send files, but for now I leave these 3. If you have other suggestions you can send.
