The online shopping platform, BayQi(11 / 07 / 2019) held a press conference where it presented solutions to improve e-commerce practice in Angola.
Fátima Almeida creator and CEO of the company said that e-commerce has been a growing practice in Angola and that it is difficult to do electronic commerce in the country by:

  • Present scenario with distrust;
  • Lack of digital culture;
  • Burla, because of sellers who take advantage of the fragility of buyers.
  • Lack of protection and transparency to the consumer, which does not provide security for those who buy or sell the products.

What is happening in Angola is that there is still confusion when differentiating a platform for social networks and a platform for commerce, thus giving rise to mockery, which are often practiced not by companies, but by third parties and happens with more frequencies in networks because they do not guarantee safety.

Being the BayQi team, it has focused on several solutions that allow to create greater security with customers and vendors, which are:

- Protect both customers and sellers from fraud;
- Remove people from social networks, make digital sellers acquire good practices and sell on secure platforms like BayQui, which work directly with public agencies that allow them to protect customers and sellers from the beginning to the end of purchases;
- Hold a conference where they will interact directly with the sellers to understand what are the best practices and together they can create strategies that take Angola to other levels in the area of digital commerce, arguing about what it is and how this type of commerce is done in the context Angolan;
- Create an online consumer line together with the appropriate authorities, so that consumers know how and where to complain;
- Bet on digital education;

The app that currently has more than 120 thousand registrations and delivers to all the provinces of Angola, within days will have a option Vende, where sellers who wish to sell easily, safely and effectively can register and sell their products.

The option will work as follows: the seller will create a store and will list the products that you want to sell in the (virtual) store, the buyer in turn selects the desired product. The seller is notified for sale, the product is collected and verified by the BayQui team. After this process, if there is any inconvenience, the values can be returned to the buyer. It is a strategy where the customer is not unprotected.
