Students present innovative projects at Hackathon 2024

The first edition of Hackathon 2024 took place last year, an event promoted by Telecommunications Institute (ITEL) in partnership with NOSSA Seguros, where several students presented technological projects linked to travel assistance and the insured's driving behavior.

The event also served to promote creativity and innovation in the insurance sector, where the general director of ITEL, Cláudio Gonçalves, congratulated the students for their dedication and highlighted the importance of collaboration between the two institutions.

The CEO of NOSSA Seguros, Alexandre Carreira, assured that the “The company will continue to support similar initiatives in the future, with the aim of developing technological solutions applicable to the insurance market.".

During the event, students were also awarded with participation certificates and money.
The first place winner received one million kwanzas, while the second place winner received 600 thousand and the third place winner received 400 thousand kwanzas.
The Hackathon 2024 took place from November 29 to December 1, in the auditorium facilities of the Higher Institute for Information and Communication Technologies, states the same document.
