University students in the province of Cunene are looking forward to speed, inclusion of people typing and reduction in the prices of telecommunications services, taking into account the entry into operation of the Angolan satellite Angosat-2.

Speaking of the inauguration of the Satellite Control Centre, the students highlighted digital inclusion, the expansion of telecommunications services, speed of communication and competitive prices as the main benefits of the Angolan satellite.

Daniel Muhawa, a student on the laboratory health course, stressed that although Cunene is not yet using these services, the operationalization of Angosat-2 will make prices more flexible in the communications market. He stressed that the satellite is an opportunity for Angolans to make an analysis of the prices practiced in the telecommunications market which, for him, are high.

On the other hand, Isaque Gonçalves, a computer engineering student, explains that the current world of information technologies requires greater internet speed and Angosat's services will help a lot in what speed is.

"At the moment, we have a limited Google mix system for detailed location in the images, and the satellite will guarantee more availability of services from billing, low cost and availability of ICT”, said Neuro de Freitas, professor of History, pointing out that despite the fact that Angosat-2 is operational in just a few provinces, he is waiting for a decision from the Executive and from the operators on whether or not to reduce costs and see improved communications.
