US temporarily suspended sanctions against Huawei

It should be no news to anyone the battle that Huawei is currently facing against the US government, where some of the major US tech companies begin hacking links with Huawei.

Now the United States of America has decided to suspend for 90 days the sanctions to Huawei. A transitional period of adaptation, before the Chinese telecommunications company and trading partners lose the right to use US software and components.

O US Department of Commerce will allow Huawei Technologies to purchase products manufactured in the US to maintain existing networks and provide software updates for existing Huawei phones. The company is still prohibited from buying American parts and components to make new products without the approval of licenses that are likely to be denied.

According Wilbur Ross (US Secretary of Commerce), the new authorization is intended to give telecommunications providers who depend on Huawei equipment time to make other arrangements.

The authorization, which is in effect for 90 days, suggests that changes in the Huawei supply chain may have immediate, far-reaching and unintended consequences for its customers.
