The Angolan Executive reviewed a specific regulatory framework for startups last Friday, November 14th, during the 2nd Extraordinary Session of the Council of Ministers, chaired by the President of the Republic, João Lourenço, in Luanda.

The proposal guarantees exemption from industrial tax, property tax, and customs duties for three years, representing a commitment to the diversification and modernization of the national economy.

The Secretary of State for Industry, Carlos Rodrigues, stated that the seal of startup It will be awarded to companies with innovative projects, a scalable business model, less than five years in existence, and a turnover below three and a half million dollars.
