O Facebook recently announced that canceled its F8 developer conference, that would take place at the McEnery Convention Center in San Jose, California, on May 5 and 6, 2020. In a statement, Facebook said that, given the “growing concerns” about the COVID-19, the personal component of F8 has been canceled, to try to get around the situation, Facebook is planning events, videos and live content hosted locally.

In addition to these two events that have already been canceled to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, the annual conference of game developers in San Francisco that was scheduled for March 2020 has been postponed until the end of the year, as many major game companies have given up, such as Sony, Unity, Microsoft, Kojima Productions, Facebook and EA.
