Facebook launches Messenger Day, another feature similar to Snapchat

O Facebook announced today (9) the launch of the Messenger Day, a feature that allows users to post videos and photos that only last 24 hours just like in Snapchat.

All three Facebook apps now feature the story feature. First was the Instagram, then the WhatsApp and now the Messenger. The novelty was already being tested in Poland since September last year and now the company has decided to implement it for all users.

The new Facebook Messenger feature is available to Android and iOS system users and will reach out to everyone within a few hours.

To use the new feature, Messenger Day just have the application updated with the latest version and click on the camera button or the rectangle “My Day”At the top of the screen and to publish your photo or video, just click on the arrow in the lower right corner. It is also possible to add stickers, text, drawings and facial filters (the famous Snap lenses).

Facebook already made it clear that it would copy three times on all its major platforms, so that the Snap Inc. had no doubt that no one has a greater hegemony than Face himself. Competition is acceptable, the problem is when it becomes retaliation because Snap did not accept the proposal to be sold to Facebook.

Now we have to wait for the future of Snapchat, which bets on other products, such as selling to the general public of its customers. Spectacles glasses and that is to develop other things like a 360 camera degrees and a drone.
