Facebook Messenger Lite has been expanded to more 132 countries

At the beginning of the year of 2015, the Facebook Lite, an application suitable for "3 World" countries where the Internet is not so fast and the most used smartphones are the low cost.

Following the official launch in just five countries last year, Facebook is now expanding the launch of Messenger Lite to another 132 countries, which offer low-bandwidth versions of Facebook's two main products to users in emerging markets with weak service and expensive data rates.

The version Lite of Mesenger, has been released for older phones with limited memory and processing power. Users will still be able to chat with more than 1,2 billion Messenger users, but they will be limited to sharing text, photos, links, and stickers. The processor's heavy features such as Messenger Day, photo filters and third-party applications will not be available, but the application itself was designed to use less memory and data while compensating for unstable networks.

Unfortunately some countries do not yet have Lite Messsenger, we are talking about countries like: Bangladesh, Brazil, Canada, China, Cuba, India, Indonesia, Iran, Ireland, Mexico, New Zealand, Philippines, Sudan, United Kingdom, USA and Korea From north. It is also important to point out that, from a hardware point of view, Messenger Lite is only available on Android, but works with older versions of the operating system up to Android 2.3.
