Facebook will simplify privacy tools

O Facebook intended to simplify the use of privacy tools. In a statement, the social network says it's time to make our privacy tools easier to find.

"The events of last week showed that there is still a lot to do for Facebook to enforce its policies and help people understand how it works, as well as the choice options available to them regarding their data."The statement said.

Facebook will also show the data it stores on the user in a new area called "Access your information". This will include user posts, reactions, comments, and searches. There, you can delete anything that you no longer want associated with your profile.

The social network, led by Mark Zuckerberg, has clearly realized that privacy settings and other important tools are hard to find and that you need to do more to keep users informed.

Facebook had already admitted that it was wrong to manage the Cambridge Analytica case and that improvements have already been made, but there is still much to be done.
