Recently the Youtube reported that it would start streaming live Football games, but by now it has a new competitor in the market. Facebook now has guaranteed that it will start to play football games live, and to debut in Spain the first game will be the Spanish Women's League.
The dispute will be between Atlético de Madrid Féminas and Athletic Club which will pass 12:45 in Angola. The game will be broadcast by Grabyo, an online video company backed by such names as Thierry Henry e Cesc Fabregas former FC Barcelona players who have a history as football stars.
Even though the game itself is not so relevant, the effort that is being made is important for the future of Facebook that the later can pass very important games.
However, this is being considered as an important step for Facebook, since so the later the company could prepare something like the transmission of a Champions League final, a World Cup match, or even the transmission of a game of the NBA.
