FILDA 2021 starts today, and with several technology panels highlighted

The 36th edition of the Luanda International Fair (FILDA) opened its doors today (30), in the Special Economic Zone (ZEE) Luanda – Bengo, where 558 national and foreign companies will be present over a period of five days, and where this edition will have as theme “Technology as a support for the development of agribusiness and industry".

In addition to Angola, with 500 exhibitors, exhibitors from 17 countries with 58 companies are present at the event, represented individually and by Chambers of Commerce. Portugal and China, with 17 and 11 companies respectively, are the most representative countries in this year's Filda.

Speaking of the technological aspects of this 2021 edition of FILDA, it will have a section called FILDA Talk Summit, where 4 panels will address various topics of the Angolan digital entrepreneurship ecosystem, and of course, with a wide range of guests.

For the first day, the event will feature a panel called "Innovation from the Research and Development Academy in Angola”, with confirmed presence with analysts Marco Romero (GGPEN), Ariane Nhany (YALI Awards), Arestuche Luis and Carmo Montenegro.

BUT: Technology in agribusiness and industry is the theme of the 2021 edition of FILDA

It should also be noted that on December 03rd, Friday, two important panels on technology are scheduled, the first with the theme "The Telecommunications Ecosystem as an Enabling Platform for the Digital Revolution”, with Kussi Bernardo (Multitel), Ellis Cleuza, Seidou Ndolomingue (Portal de TI) and João Ricardo Francisco (RIMANET) as analysts. For the second panel of the day, the topic addressed will be "convergeIOT Science, BIG DATA, AI and Blockchain Defining the Future of Business”, with approaches from specialists Hélio Pereira(Cybercrime Investigator), Ceni Santos(CINFOTEC), Pedro Paris and Aniceto de Carvalho. The panels take place at 11:00 am and go until 12:30 pm, while the second one starts at 13:00 pm and ends at 14:30 pm.

Promoted by the Ministry of Economy and Planning, and organized by the company Eventos Arena, the 36th edition of the event will have participants spread across the sectors of commerce and services, food and beverages, agribusiness, telecommunications and information and communication technologies, manufacturing industry, banking services, insurance, civil construction and public works, machinery and equipment, Oil & Gas, transport and logistics and health services.

According to the organization, this edition will take place in a total area of ​​28 thousand square meters, which includes the pavilion and the outdoor area, in addition to the forecast of creating approximately 750 temporary jobs, not counting the jobs of exhibitors, which, in total , around two thousand jobs.
