The payments market around the world is in a consolidation phase, where more and more startups operating in the segment have emerged, and the Angolan entrepreneurship ecosystem is no different.

The most recent bet is the Check-In.ao, a platform integrated with a payment method that facilitates processes and prevents fraud, according to its CEO, Mário Rafael.

Speaking in an interview with E&M, the founder explains that Check-In.ao is a platform that aims to help event promoters manage their activities, from the beginning when tickets, digital or physical, are made available for purchase. until the day of completion.

According to the CEO, Mário Rafael, the platform has a back-office, where companies create their own events, make tickets available with the respective quantities and prices, and is integrated through digital payment to facilitate transactions. processes and prevent fraud.

"We work everything integrated with the Multicaixa Express, an application of EMIS”, he reinforced.

Regarding the reliability of the app, the payment method currently used, Mário Rafael said that there is likely to be confusion regarding the use of the Multicaixa Express application.

"People refer to the act of going to the ATM, making a bank transfer, which is proven by presenting a bordereaux. It is this document that has been the target of forgery".

The CEO clarified that Checki-In.ao makes instant payments and the issue of forgery does not apply because payment is immediate, communication between EMIS and the platform is not made using intermediaries.

"When payment is made, the money goes into the account of the person responsible for the event, it is an automatic and direct payment, there are no borders".

He also mentioned that after payment, a notification is sent to the cell phone associated with the customer's app to authorize and process the operation. At the end, you receive the ticket with a QR code, via email, to validate the ticket on the day and at the door of the event using the Check-In Fast app, which also belongs to the startup.

The platform also has a back-office that allows the event organizer to know how many tickets they sold, how much revenue they had, which people participated in the event, who checked in and when they arrived.
