A Internet Technologies Angola (ITA) did not dismiss workers and collaborators for reasons related to the financial results of the business in 2021, but rather that the number of employees of the company has been growing over time, according to the words of Francisco Pinto Leite, General Manager of the company , in an interview with the magazine Economy & Market.
The manager thus reacted to the news in recent weeks, based on the report “Evolution of the number of employees in the Sector” of telecommunications published on the website of the Angolan Institute of Communications (INACOM), which show that 103 technology airline professionals were unemployed from August to October 2021.
According to data from the regulatory institute for communications in Angola, in the first quarter of 2021, 7.752 professionals were employed, while in the second quarter the number dropped to 7.745 and in the third quarter it dropped even further to 7.642.
For the director general of ITA, his company observed yes “some voluntary departures" and others "few for disciplinary reasons", but "You are never” on account of the results of their business.

“We have only 3% of foreign workers”, said Francisco Pinto Leite, arguing that ITA's priority is Angolan staff and young people, however, when they cannot find the necessary profiles locally to supply certain areas, they turn to the foreign market.
Finally, Francisco Pinto Leite says that ITA currently has more than 180 employees who represent approximately 20% of the company's global costs.
