Eugene Kaspersky, one of the magnates of the world of digital security and founder of one of the prominent anti-viruses in the history of Informatics, warned in a recent interview with NBC News that the long-awaited Internet of Things could mean the Internet of threats.

According to Eugene, this trend of connecting [everything] in the network will be a great passion for hackers because it will open doors to exploit more security flaws,

With a connected mobile phone there is an open door for hackers to gain access, with a computer there is another open door, but with everything connected it will not be known exactly what methods will be used by hackers to gain access to people's devices… you call this the internet of people things I call the internet of threats.

Eugene also points out that in the event that a hacker can gain access to a victim's digital TV, he can send rescue messages, and he may also have access to private information if he can break into a smart watch, so that every connection that emerges will create myriad of attack scenarios.

Understand what the Internet of Things is

For those who have never heard of the famous internet of things it is nothing less than the future of computing that will allow your chest, glacier, microwave, television and even your stove to be connected to the internet and can be controlled remotely, this it will be possible as a result of a project that is being developed by MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) using wireless sensors and radio frequency identification (RFID) that will assign an identifier for each equipment (appliances) to be connected to the network.

So the future promises, remember that we no longer exist as people of flesh and blood in an entirely digital world we are just a user and access code who gets this information takes control of our lives.
