A code change in Google Chrome spotted by the 9to5google website suggests that the company should make a change to the Internet browser, which will help keep users safer.
According to the publication, the browser will automatically warn and block any download made from HTTP sites, allowing downloads to be made only from sites with HTTPS encryption.
BUT: Malware detected in Google Chrome extensions that steals user data
This change is expected to roll out with the Chrome 111 update, which is expected in March 2023.
