Google has created a suspense to reveal the name of the new version of its operating system. After months in which the operating system was called Android N, finally the official name was revealed.
If you thought that the new Android would be N (Nutela), so forget, the search giant revealed that the new Android is the nougat (torrone in French, or Torrão, in Portuguese). The revelation was made on the official Google channel and on the Snapchat and Twitter profile.
No surprises ...
Previous versions of Android had their names chosen in “homage” to sweets. To be more exact, the first releases of the platform have no names, as of Android 1.5 the name Cupcake was inserted, starting the saga of the names of sweets, always beginning with the next letter of the alphabet - the list includes Donut, Eclair KitKat is Marshmallow and now Nougat.
As for the version?
Following the numbering, Google should define Android N as version 7.0. Officially google has not yet revealed the official number of the new version, but most of the images of Android N show the time 7:00 on the clock, the rest can be seen ...
Official release
Android N is available for anyone who wants to test, beta version, the final version should be released between October and November this year.
