O Google launched an application called “Datally“, Which allows users to control data usage on Android devices. The Tool also has a feature to find public Wi-Fi in nearby networks.
Datally is able to disable consuming them in applications that run in the background automatically or choose which ones we want to continue consuming data. Since not all users are aware of how much apps consume from the data plan of their smartphones.
Datally works on all smartphones with Android 5.0 (Lollipop) or higher version.
The way the Google application helps to control mobile data consumption is quite interesting, when the user opens an application a bubble appears to show what data consumption is being done.
According to Google itself, the application has an especially important function to conquer the millions of users who constantly think about data consumption, but do not know exactly how they use it, nor do they feel they are in control to be able to direct them to apps they would really like.
The new Google-Datally application is already in the Play Store and can be downloaded for free. There is still no forecast to launch the device tool iOS systems.
