Google will delete accounts that have not been used for more than two years

A Google announced that it will move forward with its plan to permanently delete inactive user accounts, noting that it will be on December 1st that these accounts will be deleted.

How does it count CNN, Mountain View technology considers inactive accounts to be those that do not show any sign of activity for a period of two years. The aim is to prevent security risks, as older accounts with no activity are less likely to employ measures such as two-factor authentication – making them an easier target for hackers.

"We want to protect your private information and prevent any unauthorized access to your account, even if you are no longer using our services.", explained to Google when this initiative was announced in May.
