The Government will implement in the country's capital, Luanda, the CISP- Integrated Center for Public Safety, a technological platform that aims, among others, to expand the exchange of information between police forces and strategic security agencies throughout the country.

More than 700 cameras will have already been installed in Luanda. Connected in real time, the cameras appear as a input the work of law and security authorities in identifying people and monitoring public spaces.

With the posting of these technological means on the streets of Luanda, the authorities want the project, financed through a credit line with China, to help police, traffic, fire brigades, medical emergencies to respond more efficiently to maintenance. and preservation of public order and accident situations.

One of the accesses to this platform will be made by making a call using the 111 number, which is easy to assimilate and use, even for the most vulnerable groups, such as children, the elderly and people with special characteristics.

The CISP telephone terminal will allow citizens' emergency requests to be quickly answered and dispatched to bodies within the Ministries of Interior and Health, as well as other defense and security forces.

The sophisticated center is due to open its doors early next week, with the ribbon cutting to be made by President Joao Lourenço, right on the hectic Ho Chi Minh Avenue in Luanda, where the project's headquarters was installed.
