HackMAT: MAT performs Hackathon in partnership with KiandaHub and UNDP

Um hackathon can be understood as an event where teams (of programmers, students, entrepreneurs, etc.) come together to focus intensely and exclusively on improving or creating a solution for one or more challenges, with the potential to be implemented as a product or service. One hackathon promotes team spirit, innovation and serves as a “fast track” for the development of disruptive solutions.

MAT in partnership with KiandaHub, with support from UNDP, will hold a Hackathon on Innovation in Local Governance on November 19th and 30th in order to train and connect different stakeholders so that they can provide solutions to the problems encountered in local governance and with that to increase its efficiency in the elaboration and execution of public policies.

Who can participate in HackMAT?

This initiative is aimed at any citizen (students, programmers, startups, entrepreneurs, freelancers, citizens, etc.) interested in contributing their ideas and solutions to solving local government problems.

The participants of the hackathon they can be organized in teams of up to three elements. We advise the formation of multidisciplinary and equally competent teams
