Since 2000 the Japanese company “Honda”(Famous for other creations), has been presenting his project for the Robot that will replace humans in many tasks.
He is called ASIMO (“Advanced Step in Innovative Mobility”, translating, Advanced Step in Innovative Mobility). The name lives up to the robot, which over the years has gained smooth movements, very similar to those of a human, being now performing tasks that were previously unthinkable for a robot, among them: walking, running, going up and down stairs, dodging objects and recognize human faces.
The great improvement is due to ASIMO sensors, which can be more agile, for recognize a bottle, pick it up in your hands, open it and serve the liquid in the glass, without breaking the bottle or the glass, with perfectly coordinated movements.

The plan is to make ASIMO able to perform daily tasks and thus help seniors, be the home manager, among other tasks.
