MacBooks Air until then were regarded as the thinnest laptops in the world. HP recently won this title with its latest HP Specter laptop that is thinner than MacBook, and more powerful.
The thinnest MacBook has 13,3 millimeters, the HP Specter is only 10,4 millimeters thick, similar to a AAA battery, Specter weighs only 1,11kg, 200 more grams than the MacBook. We can say that it is not the lightest laptop in the world, still leaving this title for Apple with its MacBooks.
The laptop has a diagonal of 13.3 inches with Full HD resolution and was created from aluminum and carbon fiber. The audio system was developed by Bang & Olufsen and HP Audio Boost itself. Even though it is the thinnest laptop in the world, its battery life is 9,5 hours. We can see that even with this screen size it does not consume much energy.
The new Specter comes equipped with an Intel 6-a generation processor and depending on each pocket you can choose between the Intel Core i5 or Core i7 processor, 8GB RAM, 512GB SSD, 3 USB Type C ports the same which Apple used on its new MacBook.
It will be marketed in the United States at a price of $ 1169 - $ 1250, and pre-sales started on April 25th. Luxury versions will be available soon, with Swarovski and 18 karat gold finishes.
