A Huawei will improve the IT infrastructure of Edições Novembro (EN), within the scope of a partnership agreement between the two institutions and where the idea can be to find new technological solutions to the challenges of the public company.

According to the administrator for the Technical, Production and Information Technologies Area at EN, Joaquim Quicuca, the goal is to work with Huawei, in addition to providing technological equipment, to obtain support in the training of the company's staff.

Speaking at the end of the visit by the chairman of the Board of Directors (PCA) of the Chinese multinational Huawei in the Southern African Region, António Hou, the EN facilities, the person responsible reiterates obtaining support from the Chinese multinational to infrastructure the Multimedia Department and likewise attend to other ongoing projects, such as the institutional website and the digital collection.

"We want a digital transformation of Edições Novembro and strengthen the company's technological infrastructure”, he added, in addition to explaining that with the creation of the institutional website, the company's brand will be elevated.

This visit also served as an opportunity for the administrator to highlight the inauguration of Edições Novembro's institutional online page.

"Until now, we have the Jornal de Angola website, but we have never had an institutional website. Let's bet on the website, because we have several challenges", said.

Edições Novembro, announced, will rely, before the end of the year, on the Multimedia Department for the production of digital content.

"It is a department focused on the production of multimedia content”, he added. “All content created by the Multimedia Department will be used for Jornal de Angola online, the institutional website and for national corporate TV"He said.

The administrator recognized that Edições Novembro needs to advance in the modernization and automation of processes and added that the company's management has several projects underway, in addition to this one, presented to the representative of the Chinese company.

 "We are aware of what Huawei represents. Therefore, establishing a partnership with the company would be an added value, given that it is one of the objectives set out”, he said, highlighting that the company needs to move towards modernization and keep up with advances in the field of information technologies.
